Andy joined BSC in May 2012 initially to set up and head our new Service & Maintenance Department before becoming involved in the Operations of the Company as a whole, leading to his subsequent appointment to Director of BSC in 2021.
With a background in the Mechanical & Electrical industry, Andy has provided M&E services and solutions to a variety of clients from public sector through to blue chip corporate clients, at both Engineer and Management levels. It is his own experience as a former client within the industry that motivates him to ensure that the support that BSC provides is a quality service that meets the individual needs of each client.
In 2026, Andy became Part-Owner of BSC and is committed to continuing the Company values of its Founders and developing BSC further in the coming years, to meet the needs of an ever changing Industry.
Chris first joined BSC as a young Apprentice in 1999, working his way through each element of the business before his recent appointment as Technical Operations Supervisor. This long standing background within BSC has enabled Chris to gain, not only valuable experience of the BMS industry as a whole but also an appreciation and understanding of all the different elements required to provide a truly turnkey solution to our clients.
Chris provides support and leadership to BSC’s Engineering Team to ensure that skills are not only maintained but are developed in line with changing industry needs. This knowledge and expertise lead to his appointment to Director in 2021.
In 2026, Chris joined Andy as Part-Owner of BSC and is committed to continuing and enhancing the technical development of BSC to meet future needs and ensuring its continued success.
Jo joined the Company in 2012 primarily to assist with the development and growth of BSC.
A member of the Chartered Management Institute and with a background in Leadership, Management and Business Improvement, Jo is able to assist with a diverse and cross section of BSC’s business needs, including Business Development & Future Strategy, Health, Safety and Quality, Continuous Improvement, Human Resources and Policy and Procedural Compliance.
Jo provides support and leadership to BSC’s Management Team to ensure a quality service provision for our Clients, whilst ensuring the safety and security of our employees.
In her role as Director of Business Support & Development, Jo will assist the transition of BSC from its former Founders to its new Owners. Through a program of continuous business development and effective succession planning, we strive to ensure a successful and sustainable future for BSC, its Employees and our Clients.
Having worked together as former colleagues, Tim and Bob formed Building Services Controls Ltd (BSC) in April of 1996.
With over 60 years industry experience between them, they steered BSC to become the largest Independent Controls Company in Wales, providing Building Management Solutions for both new construction and refurbishment projects throughout Wales and the UK.
In 2026, after celebrating 30 Years in Business, they handed over the reins to Andy Gill and Chris Jones to continue its values and build on the success of BSC.
