Bob EvansTim Jones

Bob Evans & Tim Jones, Directors

Having worked together as former colleagues, Tim and Bob formed Building Services Controls Ltd (BSC) in April of 1996.

Now, with over 60 years industry experience between them, they have steered BSC to become the largest Independent Controls Company in Wales, providing Building Management Solutions for both new construction and refurbishment projects throughout Wales and the UK.


Joanne Jones

Joanne Jones, Business Development Manager

Jo joined the Company in 2012 primarily to assist with the development and growth of BSC.

A member of the Chartered Management Institute and with a background in Leadership, Management and Business Improvement, Jo is able to assist with a diverse and cross section of BSC’s business needs, including Business Development & Future Strategy, Health, Safety and Quality, Continuous Improvement, Human Resources and Policy and Procedural Compliance.

Jo provides support and leadership to BSC’s Management Team to ensure a quality service provision for our Clients, whilst ensuring the safety and security of our employees. Through a program of continuous business development and effective succession planning, we strive for a successful and sustainable future for BSC, its Employees and our Clients.


Andy Gill

Andy Gill, BSC General Manager

Andy joined BSC in May 2012 initially to set up and head our new Service & Maintenance Department, however in more recent months, he has taken a more pivotal role within BSC, providing Business Development support and overseeing our day to day Business Operations.

With a background in the Mechanical & Electrical industry, Andy has provided M&E services and solutions to a variety of clients from public sector through to blue chip corporate clients, at both Engineer and Management levels. It is his own experience as a former client within the industry that motivates him to ensure that the support that BSC provides is a quality service that meets the individual needs of each client.

Chris Jones, Operations Manager

Chris first joined BSC as a young Apprentice in 1999, working his way through each element of the business before his recent appointment as Technical Operations Supervisor. This long standing background within BSC has enabled Chris to gain, not only valuable experience of the BMS industry as a whole but also an appreciation and understanding of all the different elements required to provide a truly turnkey solution to our clients.

Chris provides support and leadership to BSC’s Engineering Team to ensure that skills are not only maintained but are developed in line with changing industry needs.

BSC Engineers

A major contributor to BSC’s long standing reputation as a quality provider of turnkey control solutions is our people. We have invested heavily in our engineer training and are proud to have on board an extensive and experienced team of installers, programmers and commissioning engineers.

Our engineers follow structured product training programmes provided by the industry’s leading suppliers, ensuring that they are always at the cutting edge of new technology.
